The Pixanded Corrections Policy explains how readers can report errors and how we correct inaccurate or outdated information.
Pixanded is committed to publishing accurate, useful and current information. When we identify a meaningful error, we aim to correct it promptly and transparently.
How to report an error
To request a correction, email contact@pixanded.com with:
- The URL of the affected page.
- The inaccurate or outdated statement.
- A clear explanation of the issue.
- Supporting evidence or a reliable source, when possible.
- Your name and contact details, if you would like a response.
We review correction requests in good faith, but submitting a request does not guarantee that a change will be made.
How we evaluate requests
We may review:
- Primary and official sources.
- Manufacturer documentation.
- Published research.
- Original article notes.
- Screenshots or archived material.
- Relevant legal or technical guidance.
- Information supplied by the person reporting the issue.
When necessary, we may contact the requester or another knowledgeable source for clarification.
Types of changes
Minor corrections
Minor changes may include:
- Spelling and grammar corrections.
- Formatting improvements.
- Repairs to broken links.
- Small clarifications that do not alter the article’s conclusion.
Minor corrections may be made without a public correction note.
Material corrections
A material correction addresses an error that could meaningfully affect a reader’s understanding or decision.
Examples include:
- Incorrect product specifications.
- Incorrect pricing or compatibility information.
- Misattributed quotations or sources.
- Misleading statements.
- Significant numerical errors.
- Incorrect legal or platform-policy information.
When appropriate, we will add a correction or update note explaining what changed and when.
Article updates
An article may be updated because information has changed since publication, even when the original information was accurate at the time.
Major updates may include a new “Last updated” date or an editor’s note.
Removed content
We may remove content when it:
- Contains substantial inaccuracies that cannot be corrected adequately.
- Creates an avoidable legal or safety concern.
- Infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- No longer provides meaningful value.
- Violates our editorial standards.
Removal decisions are made case by case.
No silent alteration of material facts
We aim not to silently change a material factual error in a way that conceals the original problem. When transparency benefits readers, we will include an explanatory note.
Response times
We aim to review credible correction requests as soon as reasonably possible. Complex requests may require additional research and time.
